Tech Valley Continuity, LLC. Announces Release of NFPA 1600 Compliance Assessment Tool

Latham, NY -  Tech Valley Continuity, LLC. is proud to announce the release of their business continuity NFPA 1600 compliance tool.  NFPA 1600 Standard on Disaster/Emergency Management and Business Continuity Programs has been recognized as the U.S. standard by the Department of Homeland Security and many other organizations and continuity professionals.

By combining the actual elements and plan requirements of the standard, with the recommendations found in Annex A, Tech Valley Continuity has identified over 660 data items contained within the project management requirements, plan elements standard, and the actual required plans. 

According to Geoff Turner, president of Tech Valley Continuity, “Publically traded corporations, financial institutions, health care agencies, and governmental organizations, are all required by law to maintain business continuity plans.  NFPA 1600 is the standard by which most of these organizations will be judged.  This tool finally provides a consistent method of evaluating compliance and reporting of discrepancies.”
